My SUV Nirvana
The Nissan Murano is a solid SUV. While it is an SUV, it drives like a car. It performs well in holding the road when going around a curve at up to 60 mph. This model year came with many luxury features standard and was a great value for the cost of the vehicle. It has been a great time-tested vehicle holding up very well with mostly only preventative maintenance.

Good value but lacks some of the nice additional features.
The Nissan Murano is a good value for a mid-sized SUV. It serves most of the purposes that my wife and I were seeking in a pre-owned car. It does lack some of the features that we would like to common standard such as Bluetooth. I like the look of the vehicle and it provides the benefits of an SUV with the feel of a crossover-type vehicle. The car drives very well and for an SUV gets good gas mileage. In general the car drives well, but I do not like some of the rear visibility caused by the shape of the windows in looking to the left and right to the rear. When we first obtained the car, we needed to take it back to the dealership twice for pre-existing issues but since then it has been maintenance free. We put about 25,000 miles per year on the car, so it gets good usage and thus far has held up well. The Murano is good for longer trips which we take 3-4 times per year to visit the in-laws. The car drives well. It has great acceleration but the braking and handling, I would rate as good. With that said, I always feel in control of the vehicle and it has never felt unsafe in its control. As an SUV, it has good storage capacity. Very few times have we been unable to carry items that we thought we could, using this vehicle.
