When I bought the car 9 years ago, I was looking for something that was good on gas and reliable. The Saturn Vue was just that, and for the price it was a great buy. A four cylinder SUV was not easy to come by at the time, so I was happy to find one. The car is from 2004, so the "bells and whistles" that are almost standard in vehicles today, are not in my car. This makes me feel that my car is out dated, and it has out lived its prime, however, it is still running strong. I would rather forego the amenities from these new cars, and keep a car that is reliable, and is paid off. I've had transmission problems on the car recently, but other than that it has held up really well. One of the better features of the car, is a pop up rack in the trunk, which is great for groceries. The car is certainly not the most stylish car, but it is an all wheel drive car, which makes it great in the bad weather. I don't see too many sleek muscles car on the road when it is snowing out.

Reliable.

I love this car because it turned out to be a huge upgrade from my previously owned used Honda Civic. The Honda Civic may have given me much better gas mileage, but even this changed after time, and all of its problems outweighed that positive aspect of it. With the Saturn Vue I have felt much safer, as my car hasn't stalled in the middle of the highway randomly, and I don't have to perform continuous expensive maintenance like I did on my other car. The gas mileage could be better on the Saturn Vue, but overall it's a reliable and positive purchase. I purchased this as a used vehicle and have owned it for about four years now. I haven't had any major issues with it and although it's not a new model, the technology is advanced for its time and it does the job of providing me with any needs for comfort. I am very happy with this car and will hopefully be driving it for the next few years to come until I can afford a new one. The Saturn Vue was a great used car option and I am very satisfied with the purchase I made. It turned out to be much safer and more reliable than the Honda Civic.
