Used Subaru Forester for Sale in Chicago, IL

For the full spectrum of Midwest weather, the Subaru Forester is an excellent choice. This is the first all wheel drive vehicle I've owned, and I always thought that wouldn't make much of a difference. Boy, was I wrong! I can comfortably and confidently drive in the snow and ice of a Chicago winter in my Forester. It's also a ton of fun in the summer with the massive sunroof that I have in my model! My husband and I have also taken our Forester into the mountains and it really hugs those tight hairpin turns and made us feel safe. It has a smooth, relatively quiet ride and sits nice and high above the street, so I never have to worry about something hitting the bottom of my car.

I love my 1998 Subaru Forester Turbo. It has great handling, a lot of speed, and a lot of power. It gets pretty good city and highway gas mileage, which really surprised me for an all-wheel drive car. One of the best things about it is that it's easy to find parts for it and not too difficult to fix minor mechanical issues myself. It's a great road trip car and has enough room for friends and family. It also has a lot of storage space, and it's very easy to set up roof rack accessories to carry bikes, luggage, snowboards, etc. I think one of the cons of my car is that I do not have leather upholstery. I really prefer to have leather as opposed to cloth seats because they are easier to care for, and I think they wear better if they are conditioned properly. Also, the stock stereo and speakers are not very good. I am waiting to upgrade my sound system because the Subaru sound systems are some of the worst in the industry. Most of my music sounds completely different on this bad stereo!
