Reliable Subaru Impreza
The 2004 Subaru Impreza RS wagon is a sturdy car that lives up to the Subaru reputation of being reliable and safe as well as fun to drive. It handles well in all types of inclement weather and even feels 'grippy' in slick conditions, thanks to the AWD. And like most Subaru's, it's reliable, requiring minimal maintenance beyond the standard maintenance. The manual shifts well, and its size makes it agile and fun to drive on road and off road.

Great little car
I got a used Subaru Impreza TS wagon with 30,000 miles on it and I absolutely love it. I have lived in snow and live a pretty active lifestyle and it's been ideal for handling all of that stuff.
