A good, modestly-priced, economical and reliable car
I have owned the car for nine years, and it has almost 100,000 miles on it. With one exception, I have never had to engage in anything other than standard maintenance on the vehicle. I am disciplined with respect to periodic maintenance -- oil changes every 5,000 miles, minor service every 15,000, major service every 30,000, and I haven't had any problems. Very happy with the car. It consistently gets about 29 mpg on highways (although the newer legacy models get up to 37 mpg because of engineering improvements) and about 25 in the city. My next car will also be a Subaru.

Great vehicle.
I love the styling on this model legacy. For a four cylinder, this car has a good amount of power. I love the interior, and the center console is a touchscreen head unit which connects via Bluetooth and has GPS navigation. This car also comes standard with AWD which is a plus. Surprisingly, this car still gets great gas mileage for an AWD vehicle. So far, I have been impressed with the build quality of this car. I have had no problems over the past year of ownership other than a bit of oil consumption. Subaru and many manufacturer's claim that oil consumption is not a big issue and that it is normal to have to top off oil in between oil changes. I have only had to do this twice over the past year of ownership. There have been a few minor recalls that were fixed promptly by the dealer. Also during my time of owning this car, Subaru contacted owners of this vehicle extending the drivetrain warranty on the transmission. Overall, I recommend this vehicle for those looking for a dependable, quick, and stylish car.

Sterling Subaru Bryan
2011 Subaru 1087
We bought a used car from Sterling Subaru "as is". The car was in great condition and had documentation that it had been well taken care of. Less than four days later the car completely died while driving down the road and we had to have it towed from the side of the highway. We were locked into two years of payments and then were told that the transmission had died and would cost thousands more--almost half the cost of the car. On a whim I told the manager of Sterling Subaru what had happened and they went ahead and fixed it--at no cost. They didn't have to do that, legally, since we bought it "as is" but stated that they didn't feel right standing behind a legal technicality. Their actions spoke louder than words when it came to ethics and made me a customer for life. It's hard to find people you can trust in the car industry, and now I know that they believe in doing the right thing even if it costs them money.

Sewell Subaru Dallas
2011 Subaru 2031
The staff are the best. They aren't salesmen and do not pitch you any scam or deal. They are upfront, honest, nice, non-pressuring and really great to work with. While they may not be able to move much on price, the fact that you get a no-hassle experience from a real human being makes the price compromise well worth it. Plus, you always get free car washes at any Sewell location, which is a great plus. They are very customer service minded and this is what makes Sewell stand out among the best.
