Dependable, Sturdy, Comfortable
The 2014 Subaru Crosstrek XV is very sturdy, comfortable and dependable. It sits about 18 inches taller than a standard car which gives nice clearance while driving and going over bumps. This car has all the advanced features available in several auto brands. The back of the car is a hatchback, and can store quite a bit of luggage, etc. We often have our medium size Australian Shepherd ride in the very back without putting any seats down. The car overall is pretty quiet with minimal road noise. The car is compact but roomy at the same time. Passengers have commented on seat comfort. The heater has a fan speed I have never experienced in any past vehicle. The top of the car has a rack one could install a cross racks to carry recreation equipment and/or a carry rack. The wheels took me a while to get used to as they are very different than any I had ever seen before. The back windows have somewhat of a tint to them and there are 4-5 exterior paint color options available and a few different interior options based on the exterior color. Subaru vehicles overall have a very high rating and are great outdoor, recreation, even off-road vehicles. I live in a mountain town which offers a variety of weather conditions and this model can withstand all conditions.
