Dependable, Fast, Appealing
The 4Runner has a very smooth ride. When you hit the highway, it's smooth sailing. It is a very comfortable vehicle, ample leg room. It's a classy vehicle, not overly stylish and not a bland appearance either. It's fairly spacious, as the back seats lay down into the floor, however, it doesn't fit as much as you might think without losing visibility from the back window. There are two rear windows that are designed to help with blind spots and parking. It comes equipped with a very nice sound system as well. The vehicle itself boasts a V6 engine, and can fly. It has no problems with acceleration, and braking is very crisp. It is a bit jerky though when accelerating. It is a reliable vehicle, as it is 8 years old and only has had a battery replacement and a rebuilt alternator. It recently passed the state inspection with flying colors. The 4Runner is literally a vehicle that you can almost bet will be with you for the long haul. Even in sub-zero temperatures, it starts with no problem. Handling is not as great in windy, rainy, and snowy conditions. I had to put all-seasons on my 4Runner to help control the handling better.
