Toyota Camry: not a serious vehicle.
I've always been interested in trying out a Toyota Camry, it is frequently though of as a very polarizing vehicle with how it doesn't aim of looks or features but for a decent basic car with lower performance that tries and makes up for that with a cheap price and seemingly feeling like a toy than an actual motor vehicle, and that was always the goal hence the name of the company. This has been one of the reasons me and many people I know or associate with never touched it or other companies with a similar mind set. One of the first things I realized about the 2013 Toyota Camry and other Camrys I borrowed from friends in later years is that they are very hard to drive. I usually have to adjust my turning by 1-3 seconds to get accuracy as most vehicles I've driven the steering wheel moves the car at a 1:1 basis while the Camry seems to be 2.5 or 3:1. It's not just an uncomfortable drive though, while it's generally not a nightmare every week, you will be doing maintenance on the vehicle more frequently than others, and you don't have much power to work with so you won't be able to move around urban streets very fast or do much in the country side or suburbs. You won't have much advantage in weather either. One of the first things all dealers, Toyota specific or otherwise, tell me when looking at the affordable Toyota vehicles is to pay a bit more money for enhancements or additions to make the car more durable and have better performance, which end up costing as much or more than the standard vehicle otherwise. It is really a disappointment as it doesn't really have any real benefits and the costs of gas and maintenance among other things on the vehicle makes the advertised lower price pointless unless you rarely drive and if you do no more than 2 miles a day.

Love this car!
The 2009 Camry has been a fantastic car for me. It is very roomy and even my tallest friends can fit comfortably. The seats are comfortable, so long car rides are no problem - even when the car is packed with five people. The roomy trunk holds all of my scuba gear perfectly and allows me to travel back and forth to my parent’s house with a completely packed trunk. I am a part time student so the large backseat is spacious enough to hold all my books and allow me to "live out of my car" like most students do. The car is a very smooth drive and gets great gas mileage. Surprisingly, it is sturdy enough to drive over a variety of landscapes, like open field concert and fair parking lots. The engine is quiet, and since I bought it in 2008 it has needed no major repairs. I don’t know much about cars but the Camry makes it easy to tell what is wrong, such as when the battery is dead. Overall this car is a great ride, it is sturdy and durable, and it is roomy enough to fit your whole family or all of your friends.

I like that they treated me with respect. I didn't feel "talked down" to because I am a woman. They took the time to listen and answer my questions fully. The prices are fair and they do great work! I can always trust them to do a fantastic job!

The dealership was clean. Everyone was very helpful. They gave me a price I could work with. The after market was helpful and not to pushy. They didn't rush up to my car when I pulled up and gave me time to look. They also had great inventory.
