Toyota Camry Charleston, SC OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Great economic vehicle.
I must admit, the Toyota Camry was not my first choice when I began looking for a new vehicle. Honestly, it was neither my second nor third choice. It wasn't even on the list but since purchasing I have been pleasantly surprised. The actual "body build" is smaller and more compact than the Camrys of old, making it an easy handle. This was made evident during my test drive. I was easily able to maneuver the car in and out of traffic without the bulkiness of the Camry that I had previously owned in the late 90s. The interior of the car is pretty basic. No extra frills and thrills, yet all the necessities are present and located in an optimal position for the operator/driver. Even though, as previously stated, the actual vehicle is smaller than the one I owned nearly 19 years ago, the inside riding space is comparable. The back seat could comfortably accommodate four (small) passengers. There is adequate leg room for both the front seat riders and the backseat riders. I work nearly three cities away, yet one fuel fill-up, normally $35 - $45, will carry me through my work week. This factor alone has me raving about my "little Camry" and always suggesting it to friends and family.

Good transportation.
The Camry is a solid, comfortable car. It rides well and has good safety features. I had a 2015 Camry, and the styling was a bit dated. But the performance of the car made it worth the price. I took it on long road trips and never complained about the comfort of the seats or the ride of the car. It has the feel of sitting in a comfortable chair in your living room while you’re riding down the highway. I can honestly say that I never had to bring it in for service other than the basics: oil changes and tire rotations. Never had a minute's trouble with this car. The gas mileage wasn’t bad either, averaging around 33 mpg overall. For a car this size, that’s not bad at all. Another nice feature is the size of the trunk. It’s larger than most in its class. A weeks worth of groceries. Or a few suitcases and duffels for a week-long trip fit easily. All around, it proved to me why it’s consistently one of the most popular cars on the road.
