A great solid car
I initially purchased my Toyota Camry V-6 LE because I wanted side-curtain airbags and anti-lock brakes for my daily commute to Los Angeles. I've used the anti-lock brakes on many occasions, and, thanks to them, I've never had the airbags trigger! Being a V-6, it's a pretty heavy car, which means that it hugs the road very well and doesn't get blown off course every time a truck goes by. I feel safe and secure in the cockpit, with good sound insulation and comfortable seats. The entertainment options were state of the art in 2003, meaning that I can enjoy AM and FM radio, a cassette player, and a CD player. I don't have any children, but my wife usually rides in the back seat and will vouch for the roominess and comfort -- while I'm driving along, she's usually stretched out back there with her eyes closed. I initially thought that the engine wasn't very powerful, but then I realized that the default mode for the transmission is to use Overdrive (for better mileage). To get a bit more zip, all I had to do was switch off the Overdrive! Now, there's plenty of zip to her! All in all, she's a pleasure to drive, especially on long road trips -- our last one was three weeks ago and was 3,700 miles!

Toyota Camry. Trading luxury for dependability.
My vehicle is a 2001 Toyota Camry. It is a four-door XLE edition with leather interiors and a sunroof. I initially bought it in 2015 because I was commuting over 70 miles to and from school. I wanted to save on gas mileage and I did. Over the last four years, the car has acquired over 250,000 miles on it and is still running great.

1998 Toyota 908
They have a huge selection. They have very friendly salespeople. They have a carousel for the kids to play on. It's very close to my house. Their prices are competitive.

2004 Toyota 909
They had a really good selection of certified preowned Toyotas.
Sales staff were all very pleasant (not skeezy like some places).
Negotiating the price took quite some time (it's a preowned Corolla. . . that's a pretty high demand car), but if you stick to your guns they'll come down to where you want.
The facility itself was very comfortable.
If your credit is good enough, Toyota's financing offers can be pretty decent.
