It was originally my grandmothers. Despite being almost 20 years old, there is less than 60,000 miles on it! Another pro is that it fits my snowboard in the trunk. Despite being a four-door sedan, it has a large trunk. The color is silver, which I like better than white, because white shows more dirt but not quite as much as a black car does. It is a good fit for a teen's first car, because it is inexpensive. It is also good for your mother who may be a bit older but still desires her freedom and wants to get around on her own. Finally I like that it is an automatic, because I do not know how to drive stick just yet at this moment. On the negative side, it has a dent on the driver's side door from a fender bender, as well as having a cigarette burn or two on the floor mat of the interior of the car.

The pros are the car is reliable. It hasn't needed to go to the shop at all other than for routine maintenance since I got it. It also gets good gas mileage for a standard engine. No leather seats could be seen as negative, but the fiber seats are more comfortable when the car is hit. Also, there are no tinted windows. In addition, the car has low mileage at 70,000 miles. It is an automatic transmission, which is what I prefer as I cannot drive a stick. It is a safe car as well as fairly affordable. Finally, there is a working AM/FM radio and heat and air conditioning in the car. As far as cons go, the car is over a decade old. There are no leather seats. There is not a navigation system. Finally, one of the windows ( the back left, if I recall correctly) does not roll down, unfortunately. That is all the pros and cons I can think of.
