A solid and reliable vehicle
My Toyota is great. It's not the most expensive car, but it feels and looks modern. It is very reliable, hardly ever seeming to need maintenance. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I know how to do basic things, such as changing batteries and alternators, etc. Working on this car is easy. Everything is laid out neatly and in a way that makes sense inside the engine compartment. There are little things I notice and appreciate. For example, I once had to help a pair of ladies to take the oil filler cap off of a Nissan. That design was horrible as the cap was inside a narrow hole very hard to get fingers inside and it took me five minutes just to remove it. On my Toyota, routine maintenance like oil checking, changing or filling is a breeze. The oil dipstick is easy to find, clearly standing out in bright yellow. The oil filler cap is positioned logically right on top of the engine for easy access and removal. Even changing the oil filter is straightforward and possible to do without tools for someone with a bit of strength, dexterity and determination. Of course, using a proper oil filter removal tool is recommended. The car drives smoothly and has decent power. It's not meant to be a race car, but the engine feels very capable. It hardly seems to be running when stopped and idling at a red light. However, when there is a need for a sudden burst of speed, such as on a freeway on-ramp, the engine comes to life impressively. The car is also very fuel efficient. This Toyota has electronic fuel injection, which seems to really help with efficiency. I've owned a Toyota with a carburetor before, and I can feel the difference in the performance of the engine and in better fuel economy. The interior of the car is nice as well. Like everything else, it's logical and laid out neatly. I'm tall but the car's front seating is accommodating with the seat setting pushed all the way rearward. The back passenger area is roomy too, although it might be a little cramped behind a seat when pushed all the way back as I like it. The workmanship seems to be of good quality. Again, there is nothing fancy or rich looking with this car, inside or out, but everything does look and feel logical, modern, and capable. It's a very good deal for the money.

An old reliable friend....
I have had my Toyota Corolla for 17 years and it has only ever needed to be in the shop for two minor accidents I got in (to repair the body). It is completely reliable and dependable. It's small enough to fit into tight spaces, but not so small that you feel cramped sitting inside it. It rides less smoothly than it did in the early years of owning it, but it still rides smoothly overall. It has a pretty good gas-saving engine, although less so in recent years, since I have had the vehicle for an inordinate amount of time. Maneuverability is great. I have driven out-of-state from California to Utah and Arizona with comfort and no fear of car troubles at all. Plus, it performs extremely well at top speeds out on the open highway, giving a smooth, safe ride all the way to your destination. This old model of the Corolla does not have any electric built-in equipment, other than an old tape-deck and radio due to the time period it was made. But, what is built-in to the car has also aged well with the car itself. Some of the interior carpeting on the ceiling of the interior has ripped and the interior frame molding has cracked over the years due to sun exposure. I have trouble keeping the car out of the hot Southern California sun, but that's more my own problem with not having a garage to park the car in. I doubt these problems would exist if I had always had it parked in a garage where a car belongs. It's been a fun vehicle to drive since I was a young adult and continues to aid me well into my adulthood for any and all of my transportation needs.

The sales guy was very patient with our queries.
He let us test drive quite a number of cars till we found the car we wanted.
Even though it was past closing hours, he was still letting us test drive the cars.
He was not pushy about closing a deal.
He really did his best to show us the cars that were within our budget instead of pushing us to get a more expensive car.

This dealership was great since they were helpful with answering questions. The staff was knowledgeable and on point with their cars. They also were friendly and helpful. Furthermore, they helped me know the ins and outs of buying a car and also on how to maintain the car. Test driving the car was the best thing I was able to do.
