What I love about my car was how much money I save on gas. It performs great as long as I keep it maintained with an oil change and tune up. If you are a college student or going to school, I highly recommend this car. This car will last you a long time if you take great care of it.

When I first purchased my vehicle in 2004, I immediately had issues. The weather stripping around the windows was never right. Even after being replaced multiple times, water still got in when it rained. I had issues with my brakes from time to time, but the dealership was never able to replicate the issue so they didn't do anything to them. There have been SO many recalls on my car. At one point, I was without my car for almost two weeks because they were fixing various recalls. The majority of them involved the air bag and restraint systems. I actually received another recall notice last week - it's difficult for me to arrange a time to not have my car so it can be fixed. My tape player will not eject a tape that is in there and it's been stuck for years now. I am able to play it, but can't take it out. My clock works when it wants to. Sometimes the lights by the gear shift go out. The paint has been awful. The entire roof of my car completely rusted. After googling this, it appears to be a very common problem. There is another car at my job, same make and model, that had the same issue with the paint. Even after being sanded down and repainted, the issue returned. And it looks like rust is coming through on the inside as well. My car gets me from point A to point B and always has. For that, I love my car. But there are a lot of other issues with it overall.

The Toyota Corolla is one of the best cars you can purchase. Why you may ask? It's because it has endurance, it saves you on gas (is gas efficient), and it's affordable. Some drawbacks I'll discuss on this car is that it's not stylish in appearance and that the horn location is not easy for a user to find.
