I think the car is built exceptionally well. I really like the hybrid system since I can average 45mpg in the summer time and over 35mpg in the winter time with the heat on. I have changed nothing but the tires, brakes, and oil on the car in the 150,000 miles that I have owned it. I had an accident over 100,000 miles ago where the insurance company totaled out the vehicle. I purchased a cheap bumper cover on Amazon and replaced it myself so the vehicle looked presentable on the road. I t-boned someone that blew a light at about 35mph. The car looked destroyed at first but I ended up having no problem driving it to work. I really like the immediate power you feel when taking off thanks to the electric motor. I also like the dash screen and the available information about your current mileage and efficiency. I would highly recommend this car to friends and would buy another one in a heart beat if I had the money. I really like the brake system, too. The brakes last forever because the actual pads do not get used unless you are going less than 10mph or have an emergency and slam on them. Otherwise the transmission slows down the car and charges the battery at the same time.

The one of the biggest reasons I got this car was for the fuel economy since I drive a lot for work. I have been very pleased with how efficient the car is. I save a lot of money in gas and I've never had any other problem with the car. The engine seems to run great. There are never any "extra" noises coming from the car. It has a really nice, sleek look and love how much I can fit in the trunk. If I need a little extra power, or if it's icy out, I put it into "power mode" and that gives me a better feel of the road and a little more get up and go. It's not as fuel efficient in power mode, but it is a really nice option to have when you're driving through the mountains and need more pick up.
