Forever car.
I have to admit that before my husband and I purchased our 2012 Toyota Prius, we were skeptical. We had heard numerous jokes about them and thought they were sissy cars. But we completely changed our minds when we went out of town for a date and borrowed my parent’s Prius for the drive. What a great car and fun to drive! So we bought our own when our other car bit the dust. One of the biggest things that we were really surprised about is how much power it has. Being a hybrid car, we didn’t think there would be much power, but there is. We always drive it in eco mode, which isn’t the most powerful option, but it still has a great deal of get up and go. The interior is fantastic, too. We have 3 kids, and have put this car through numerous long-distance road trips and the interior is still in fantastic shape. The seats are very comfortable, and the center console is in the perfect place for me to rest my elbow when I’m driving. Another great thing is that the front driver’s seat is very roomy. My husband is 7 inches taller than me, but we can both drive the car without having to adjust the seat or mirrors at all, which is very convenient when we are switching cars frequently. I really love the digital display, too. I have found that it is really great when I can hear a song on the radio that I love and just look at the display to see what it’s called and who sings it. This is definitely a feature that I wish I could have in our other car. It gets great gas mileage, we average over 40 mpg, and the tank isn’t even very big. We fill it up completely for $25 or less and can go over 400 miles. We plan on keeping this car until it dies, and will probably get another one after that.

We Will Buy Another One If This One Ever Gives Out...
We bought this as a "third" vehicle and it has become the primary. Living 30 miles out of town, it is such a commuter. It beats our Passat hands down. At 220K miles it is still going strong. We have had only minor maintenance and getting the work done by the dealership is surprisingly reasonable. In every possible way imaginable this car has been completely worth every penny we paid for it and then some. It is safe to boot, and can easily fit three carseats or three average build people in the back seat. We have taken this car places no one would ever imagine a Prius could go (think off grid communities in the back woods of Montana... literally). It is a trooper. We have three vehicles and it is a well spoken fact that when one of the other two gives out it will be replaced with another Prius.

Incredible fuel efficiency - not a comfortable ride
I drive a 2010 Toyota Prius with the level IV Trim, which includes heated leather seats and fold-able side mirrors among other features. My absolute favorite thing about driving my Prius is the fact that I always get at least 45 MPG (that's in the winter when I have the heat on blast) and in the summer I usually get 50 or 51 MPG. I've never spent more than $25 to fill my tank and I usually get between 400-450 miles on a fill-up. The Prius is surprisingly spacious, although I wouldn't necessarily say it's incredibly comfortable to sit in for long road trips. One of my friends is 6'4" and he can fit in the passenger seat, which was a huge surprise to us. One of my favorite things about my car is that the rear seats fold down and I can fit my bike or small kayak that I own in the backseat when I'm adventuring outdoors during the summer. I'd say that it definitely takes time to get accustomed to how low to the ground I sit when driving, and the front windshield is really long (I'm not sure if that sounds weird, but I'm sure most Prius drivers know what I'm talking about). Clearing snow off of the car in the winter is also pretty simple because the different areas of the car are pretty curvy and the snow just slides right off. My back gets a little sore if I sit in the car for multiple hours, but I always feel like my fuel efficiency greatly outweighs any negative feelings I have about my choice of vehicle.

This dealership is great since they had a great area to test out the vehicles and were very helpful in providing information on the cars available.
