It has so much potential.
We bought the Sienna when our family was growing, because we could not fit three car seats in our car. We ended up going with the XLE, because it gave us leather seats and power sliding doors and lift gates. I never thought I would say this, but I love having a minivan. Being able to push a button and have doors slide open has been a lifesaver. This is absolutely perfect in compressed spaces like packed parking lots or my garage. I don't have to worry about a door bashing another car or marring the drywall in my garage. The van has an entertainment system which is great for most families whose kids need to be watching something in order to not be screaming. So far, we have been able to avoid the entertainment system, which I'm sure won't last. Unfortunately, we've started having trouble with the vehicle. Every couple months, we seem to have to put $400-700 into it whether it's something related to the alternator, radiator, water heater, rack & pinion, etc. In addition, the driver's side sliding door has begun to malfunction regularly. It almost never latches closed without significant assistance from us or the kids. If we are parked facing downhill, then the door will not stay open without a push to latch it. This is extremely annoying.

Economical, reliable and flexible.
I love my Toyota Sienna. It has been a great family car for my family -- offering so much function and flexibility in the way that we use it.

They were very patient with me as I visited them several times. I felt like they gave me a fair price on my trade in vehicle and were able to get me the color of the car I was interested in.

I felt that the salesman wasn't necessarily all about selling me a car that I didn't want, he was more concerned about making sure I was happy. Furthermore, he didn't sell me on some sort of loan. We showed up, told him what we wanted, and he didn't push us around. I was very satisfied.
