This is the greatest truck that was ever made in the history of trucks. I got my Tacoma late in 2016 and purchased the TRD off-road edition. I got it in bright orange (inferno) and have since made some performance and cosmetic changes. I got the short-bed four-door version. Standard it comes with a great size truck bed that can easily handle most jobs. I use it to get materials for house projects and outdoor work, and it has not disappointed me. If I were a contractor, I would definitely opt for the long bed or the Tundra for greater towing and payload capacity. The ride is very comfortable and glides down the road. I removed the stock exhaust and intake system to install performance versions of both to give the truck a bit more pickup. These changes also increased the fuel economy which, for a truck, is not that bad to begin with. If I had to do it all again I would, it is an amazing truck for the price, and it is not too big, which means almost anyone can drive it down the road with no fears.

I love this truck. I picked up a lease on a slightly used 2017 Tacoma, and had I of known it was this great, I would have bought it outright. For its size, this truck can do it all. It can tow with ease, and it has excellent bed storage. The interior is excellent, it has a digital display and sleek vents and styling. I installed seat covers, because when I go off-road with it, dirt gets everywhere. It has computer controls that can help you navigate difficult terrain. The gas mileage is not great in town or a city, but considering it is a truck and it can get up to 26mpg's on the highway, I think it's pretty solid. One of my favorite features is that it is not too big; it is the right size. I would get another if I have the chance.
