The things that I like about my car are, the low mileage when I bought it, great gas consumption, its small and compact; which is perfect for me and my fiancé. It has great handling and all around driving performance. Things that I dislike are the costs of repair. The name brand quality parts can be hard to come by if you aren't a dealer. The car hates cold or wet weather, it pops the check engine light every time it rains. From my reading on the vehicle, This is a common problem. Another common problem I keep running into is a p0411 code, which is a code that has to do with the secondary air intake valve. I have had both the valve and the sensor replaced and every so many thousand miles the check engine light comes back on for the same problem. No one knows how to fix it and the code is very common and makes many people junk their VW Beetles.
