I love the overall layout of the dashboard. It has hands free Bluetooth which means no tickets while driving. It handles well in the rain and snow. It has the most legroom that I've ever had in a sedan. I bought this car for the gas mileage that is actually better than advertised and reliability. I have not had any major problems with the car. Only complaints I could have is the lack of color choice when I bought it. Oil changes can be very expensive, too. It's not a big deal but I prefer the gas tank on the other side. It would be nice if I could get the car with its own Wi-Fi though. Also, having the option for a hybrid would have been nice. The best thing I can say that not many may tell you is that I love the full size spare tire that was brand new when I bought the car. Too many cars have a donut which can be dangerous.

The car has held up well given the extreme number of miles I have driven (approximately 230,000 and counting). Friends and family consistently comment that they can't believe the car is as old as it is and/or that I have as many miles on it as I do. The interior is well designed and the extra features on the TDI have proven very handy over the years (the electrical outlet in the main console). Overall, it has been a reliable car although the emissions scandal has left a bad impression that will take years for VW to recover from.

The 2012 Volkswagen Jetta SE is a fantastic car. It gets great gas mileage and does it in style. It hugs the road on turns like a dream and has a great clutch. Driving the Jetta SE is very smooth and it shifts gears with ease. When things break in the car, it is very cheap to fix them in most cases. And the features that the car comes with are more than enough for anyone who would buy this type of car. The one bad thing I've noticed is that the alternator can be a bit fiddly, I've had to replace mine twice in 3 years.
