The 2005 Jetta was the first year of the "new" model of Jettas. It came out halfway through the year. I have driven over 123,000 miles in this car with little to no trouble at all. The car has aged well and still looks new. When this model came out it was very different looking from what people expected of the Jetta. It was often compared to a luxury vehicle. It is the perfect car for lugging around 3 dogs. The backseat is roomy and the faux leather seats are tough and stain resistant.
