I enjoyed the car very much. There was, however, a point, after I had reached a 100,000 miles, that the car was not performing as well and had to replace the timing belt as well as some spark plus. Otherwise, the car lasted very well. I enjoyed the interior design as it fit my style, as well as how small and cozy the car felt to me.

Reliable and high quality.
I am the owner of a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. This is the first year of the next generation Diesel engine that is currently in scandal, but it has overall been very reliable. I have driven around 160,000mi, and I have had no major issues. I am even on the factory rear brakes! I would highly recommend Mk5 Volkswagens to any used car buyer.
