The 2015 Volkswagen Passat was a great car. It was roomy car. When I rented the vehicle originally, it had separated air conditioning unit in the back seat. In the one I bought, it did not. It was relatively good vehicle to me. The negative is that it ultimately wore down due to use over a short period of time. The vehicle was defective from the time I bought it.

Overall, the Volkswagen Passat is a very capable and well rounded car. Understated style is a plus for those who don't want to stand out too much without completely blending in, as is the case for Camry owners. It's very big inside, especially the rear seating area. The controls are all well laid out and easy to understand and the trip computer has a lot of helpful information at your fingertips. Mine has been problem free, with no warranty issues in a year of ownership. The car can feel a little bland at times but I think that may be because it's on the lower side of trim level options. The touch screen radio, chrome trim, and bigger wheels of the higher level trims are noticeably more attractive. Power has felt more than adequate for the 5 cylinder engine and gas mileage has been in the consistent mid-30's.
