More Car Than You're Being Charged For
Ever since Scion announced the FR-S, I had been chomping at the bit to get one. It was beautiful. When I finally got my hands on one, I was ecstatic. Since then, not a single day has gone by where I don't look at the car and think that it's stunning. Firstly, the car is beautiful. It has an incredibly sleek body, nice lines and great stock wheels. The interior is done well - it doesn't look or feel cheap and there's a nice balance of materials like leather and accent work so it's not like driving a car full of plastic. Then there's driving it. The FR-S is an absolute cornering machine. Taking it through turns a little faster than you think you should will always leave you with a giant smile on your face. The car is built to perform, and it does so beautifully, but it also has a great number of conveniences that I still can't wrap my head around for the price. You get Bluetooth, a touch screen radio, auxiliary input and an amazing sound system even without any upgrades, all for the same price you'd pay for a car from other companies that has none of those things and none of the looks.

Versatile Drivers Car
Every time I sit into the driver's seat and start the Scion FR-S it feels like the first time I drove it. I currently have almost 50,000 miles on the vehicle. I have encountered no mechanical problems and the vehicle has shown its build quality through my travels across the United States. The Subaru-Toyota partnership that came together to build the car has done a great job. At 200 HP, many claim that the car is under powered. I personally feel that when considering the low weight of the vehicle compared to the power that it responds well and it is fun to drive. It has performed well on city streets, interstates, and dirt roads in rural America. On all of these different type of roads I was able to drive aggressively and take corners at high speeds while feeling that I was totally in control of the vehicle. The exterior styling of the vehicle is the first quality that drew me to the Scion FR-S. The sleek curves and lines in addition to the low driving height give the FR-S the look of a true sports car. It is also a great canvass for expressing your own creativity. The FR-S is easy to modify and add exterior accessories such as fog lights, spoilers, carbon fiber accessories, and lighting. On the inside, the 2 door FR-S continues to show why this is a true driver's car. The bucket seats do a great job of holding you while you take corners and curves aggressively. The stock sound system is underrated. I added a subwoofer and it was what was needed to complete the sound. The interior has no rattling and seats are comfortable even on long drives! (I drove from Oregon to Texas!!). The steering wheel and interior is comfortable to use. The only downside of the interior would be if you are trying to transport more than 2 people. While a backseat does exist, it is not a comfortable place for anyone who is taller than 5'2''. One way that the FR-S surprised me was when I used it to move across the county. I put the seats down and was able to put a 32" TV, 3' Speakers, and 6 moving boxes in the car! The car amazed me that I was able to use it to help me move when most people make fun of it for being too small.

Maneuverable and fast.
It is low profile so it takes a little to get used to coming from a regular sedan. After about a week it feels natural and no different then a higher profile car.
