My Focus Still Running
I own a 2001 Ford Focus. This car has been over 100,000 miles, and is still running. Sure it has had it's share of problems. It had to get a new transmission, the air conditioning quit for a short time, and the wipers have never had the speed I wanted. But, overall, I love my car. This car has a tremendous amount of mileage, but still runs great. The interior has held up well, as has the body. This car does not look like a 2001. Many parts of it are original, and they don't look their age. This car is in great shape, and I am hoping it will run for many more miles, I am sure not planning on giving it up. I bought it second hand in 2007, and it has not had any major problems except the transmission, which I mentioned earlier. It has not had to ferry kids, but it has ferried plenty of dogs, with no visible interior damage. The one really special thing I found about this car is that a full-size wheelchair fits in the trunk with room for groceries! That was such a bonus to find out. That is something to add to my list for a car, must fit a wheelchair in the trunk, and a walker in the backseat, and my Focus does. What a great car.

It's a decent A-B vehicle.
I bought it non running. It was easy to fix. It is prone to vacuum leaks. Lots of parts are available. Good build quality. Good gas mileage. As long as you keep up with the maintenance it will keep going. Its been a fun vehicle and I have been using it daily. I drive it from Arizona to California every other month. Its also very easy to modify if you are into that kind of thing. I am. I was also able to build my YouTube channel off of it. If you are looking for a cheap reliable vehicle that is sporty, this is the car. With how the suspension is designed, it handles very well. It has well balanced horsepower and torque. It uses 6x8 inch speakers for the audio which helps it a lot. If you are into the hatchbacks, get a zx3. Its an amazing car and I enjoy it since I am building it into what I want it to be. If you need a good car that is not a Honda, (not throwing salt on Honda, I love my Hondas too. K series baby), this will meet your needs and possible exceed what you are looking for. These cars can be found really cheap. Stay away from the high mileage ones though unless the owner can show maintenance records for it or if you are mechanically inclined. AC blows nice an cold and heater gets nice and toasty when cold outside. Very comfortable seat positioning for those long drives. Drive one, it will put a happy grin on your face.
