Lacking Something
I purchased this vehicle used. I thought it was alright, until I noticed the burning smell, the air conditioner not working, and the windshield wipers not returning to start when they were turned off. Once I took it into a repair shop, I found out oil was leaking and pooled under the engine. There is something wrong with the air conditioner, and still needs to be fixed. It keeps cycling on and off. The right outer tie rod end is loose and needs to be replaced. The wiper motor needs to be replaced. The car has started making a new noise that sounds as if it needs to shift, but that is not the case. This new problem still needs to be investigated. This has been a terrible buy for me. I totaled my 2012 Chrysler 200 when another driver drove through a stop sign at me.

I kinda like the car, but I think I should have shopped around a little before I got it.
When I first got the car I thought it would get better gas mileage. But that was my fault for not doing the research. I had always considered buying a focus because I had a friend who worked for Ford and he recommended it to me. I'm not very picky about cars. I'm not one of your typical modern Americans who treat their cars like a member of the family. I just want something reliable and fuel efficient. As long as its not hideous looking of course. Anyway, I bought the car about two years ago. I had to pay for a few repairs right off the bat which I didn't like of course, but I realize its an older car so I didn't stress out that much about it. The car also had some kind of vacuum leak which was causing poor gas mileage and a friend of mind fixed it for no cost, but I really can't tell the difference. But so far I've been putting quite a bit of miles on it because I work so far from home and it has been doing ok, knock on wood.
