My experience with my HHR
This car is fairly versatile due to the fact that it is similar style to an SUV, it is just smaller. We have been able to haul some things in the back, but it is not very wide so it is hard to haul wider items. When we travel it can fit our family of four, one or two suitcases and our 80lb dog, so it is roomy in that manner. It does have great gas mileage which is always a plus. It does not have very much storage in the console though which for me is not good. The cup holders in the center console also get in the way of the emergency break and vise versa. If I have a to go cup (like from a fast food restaurant) in the cup holder, in order to use the emergency break I have to pull the cup out of the holder, which of course is easy to do, but it is an unnecessary pain.

Chevy HHR
This has been a great car to own. We purchased the car used in 2011 with 4,800 miles on it. It has fit all our needs of a small SUV type of car. It gets decent gas mileage at about 32mpg highway. The seats are high and comfortable to sit in and get in and out of the car. My husband is 6 ft. and has good head room. The best thing about this car is that I have been able to haul just about anything I have ever wanted to haul. Even an eight-foot board. The back seat folds down and give a very large area in back. Even with the back seats up, the back storage area is very roomy.
