What a gas hog!
I was hoping for the sporty fuel efficient truck that was promised. Instead I got a cramped, cab with no head room and mileage that's horrible, at best. The interior is alright, but the sound system leaves a lot to be desired. The cab is noisy, and I constantly hear the tires whining going down the road. Its funny, your excited about the new car, and you don't seem to notice a lot until you really start looking. I will say that I'm impressed with the frame, and center of gravity, as well as the color. The tires that come on the truck are a good brand I'll also say that my wife loves the car. She says its peppy, and she can see very well form all angles while driving.

Will Last Forever
The 1999 Dodge Durango is one well built SUV. The 1999 model is an overall smaller vehicle than the newer model Durango’s, but the V8 engine performs like an SUV that is much larger in size. The cabin is roomy, with an optional 3rd row seat in the rear trunk area. Without the 3rd row, there is enough room to fit 5 -6 people comfortably, with plenty of room in the back for storage. My Durango has 210,000 miles on it, and has never needed any major repairs, so they are built to last. I see this model on the road all the time. so I know that others have found a hearty little SUV in this vehicle. too. It has four wheel drive, and it performs well in all types of weather, even snow. The only drawback to this SUV is the gas mileage and oil consumption. It has a V8 engine, and tends to burn fuel quickly. If you are looking for a commuting vehicle with great gas mileage, this SUV is not for you. Overall, I really enjoy my Durango, and I know it’s gonna be around running strong for a long time.
