A no-brainer if you live in snow country, this is the ultimate vehicle to transport you, your family, pets and anyone or anything else in comfort and safety in the worst winter weather imaginable. It was born and bred in Sweden, of course, and those folks know winter. I live in the frozen north, and I've owned four Volvos through the years, each one rock-solid reliable and timeless.

Wonderful Car
Well, I have to say this car was a real gem of a find. I did my research on this beauty and was immediately taken by it online. I told my friend Frank about it the next day and he is into Volvo's. He was impressed and thought about getting one himself, but he already had a convertible one that was older. I shopped and compared this particular model and everything pretty much fell short of this one. I called local dealers and went online as well. I found a dealer not too far away and talked to a guy named Bill. He was very friendly, open, smart and no nonsense in his dealing with me. I immediately had rapport with him and felt he would hook me up with a great price and model of this car. He sure did. I took my friend Frank and it maybe took about 2 hours total to give it a test drive, get a feel for the car and fill out all the paper work. After all was done, he handed me the keys and Frank and I were off on the streets! Woo hood, what a feeling. It was probably the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Who Needs An SUV
As a long time devotee to SUV's I was dubious when I first saw this car. I thought there was no way it could compete with one in the snow and bad weather but I was wrong. This car not only handles the bad stuff with ease, its comfortable to ride in while its happening. The ride is firm but good. As expected it has great ground clearance, typical Volvo strength and very Nordic styling. I have found the seats to be very comfortable, the controls logical and the car is just fun. That said I have had some reliability issues with it mechanically. Those repairs were also quite expensive.
