Overall a quality car
I've owned the vehicle for almost 5 years now, and it's still going. Only major problem/problems I've had would be the water pump went bad ($15 dollar part, 10 minutes to change it, about a half hour to an hour to bleed the cooling system), and over the winter the battery went bad. Even with all those faults, the motor and transmission are still rock solid, the body is still in fantastic shape, the paint only has one spot on the hood where the clear coat is peeling.

Buick Rendezvous is Decent, but Not Great SUV Crossover
The Buick Rendezvous is a crossover vehicle--not fully SUV, but not fully family sedan either. With all-wheel drive and rear cargo space, this vehicle
The design and styling of the car is not as glamorous as a sporty SUV and reads along the same lines as the Pontiac Aztec--boxy and a little ugly. Looks, one of the best features is the vehicle's all-wheel drive capability. More common these days, all-wheel drive is a must for snowy climates, dirt road drives and for people who want to feel secure in their car. Rendezvous does this well and one truly does feel safe inside. One downside of all-wheel drive is that you need to maintain an even wear on all tires. These tires should be replaced as a set, but are super expensive.
Another plus of the Rendezvous is it's space. The seats have ample leg room and you don't feel the sedan-squish. You can store a decent amount of cargo in the back and if you aren't carrying too many passengers, take out the middle seats and you are ready to go.
The windows are large and allow for maximum visibility. Driving is once again probably safer in this vehicle. However, your gas mileage might not be as great as you want--you'll probably pay as much as any other SUV out there and be getting 24 MPG max on highway conditions.
Now, the vehicle does what it was sold for--carries cargo, is safe, can go off road a bit, but the major downside is the manufacturing defects. In Consumer Reports you'll find consistent problems such as window attachments breaking. While that may not be a big concern, the transmission and other major engine components could be. These vehicles were not built to last and reports indicate that consumers have had many problems with major engine parts. This would scare away your smarter customers.

Decent and reliable
It is a midsize SUV with a 6-cylinder engine and AWD transmission. It's good for travel as well as light hauling. It was a pre-owned vehicle with little to no options installed. The one thing I like is that it fits my needs as far as hauling goes. It also has decent stability, while requiring little to no maintenance. One dislike I have is gas mileage, though my driving habits balance the price tag.
