Still going strong after 17 years!
The Cadillac Escalade is a high-performance, luxury vehicle. The black and tan coloration and fancy wheels still turns heads after 17 years. The leather is supple and comfortable, the DVD and TV player were a life-saving bonus when the kids were small and the storage room and seat adjustment capabilities make it a key player when moving kids to/from sporting events, social activities, and college.

Dependable
I drive a Cadillac, and it is a great family truck. We have a big family, and this car is perfect for us. I love that my stroller fits in the back of the car even when my kids are in it. I also like the smooth drive that it gives us when we are out on trips. When we are all packed in the truck, we all still have enough personal space that we are not sitting on top of one another. I don't think I could live without my back-up beeper, it has saved me from many fender benders. With having kids, means dents and scratches, but the exterior seems to hold up against my kids. Yes, it could use a paint job, but it has held up every well. My husband does the maintenance for the truck, and I think it is pretty easy to work on. There isn't anything he can't do. It has lasted up through the years that we have had it, and it only broke down once on me. One thing that I had a problem with is the censor for stability. It came on a few times, and we had to get it fixed. I would like to eventually trade this car in for a newer model Cadillac.
