My family has been going to this dealership for a long time. We have our favorite salesman who is just a great guy. It really feels like they're looking out for us, not just trying to strike a deal. There is no haggling here, which is comforting to know - I wont walk in with the knowledge I have to fight someone or feel uncertain about the price I'm getting.

This dealership was the best. The cars on the lot were all on sale. I loved how low the prices were. The lot was huge.

Keep your eye out for street parking early as your approaching your location and give yourself extra time (10-15minutes) to find parking.
Major dealerships are mainly located outside of New Haven. I would recommend a compact fuel efficient car. Taxes are high and parking can be scarce, so the smaller the better for car size.
One of my favorite memories driving in New Haven is the night I went to Sterling Library at Yale University for a music event. The university had just acquired a collection of Big Band archives including music and video. Driving in the center of campus is always enjoyable after hours. There's always a bustle of excitement and culture in the air. The lights shining through the windows from the gothic architecture of university buildings line the roadsides. There tends to be less traffic and a calmer atmosphere, which helps you to appreciate and take in your surroundings. Students dart across the street and up the side walks. I remember seeing how beautiful the sunset was shining through Grove St Cemetery as I passed Woolsey Hall and parked on the street.
Hillhouse Ave. Beautiful old historic mansions & buildings occupied by the various liberal arts departments within Yale University stretch from the beginning to end on both sides of the street. Its truly like a picture out of a story book in the summer and fall seasons.

Be careful and look at a map before driving to this city because there are a ton of one way roads and you can get lost pretty quickly.
I don't have a ton of experience buying a car in this particular city.
My favorite time driving into this city was the time I ran a 5k to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. The city was so well organized that it made driving to this pretty big city manageable. There were thousands of runners, so even with some roads closed the beauty of so many people driving to this city for the race was awesome.
Chapel St. This is my favorite road to drive on because it is always busy. There are a ton of restaurants and shops here. The center of the city is also on this road and it's nice to drive past the green that is there.
