While the 300 looks very classy and excludes luxury, the basic features on this core model (1st year it was introduced) caused it to feel sub-luxury. Additionally electrical issues with wiring kept presenting itself throughout the years in reference to the door wiring failure and auto remote startup failure. When tires were upgraded to 22", frame issues with rubbing against rims when making sharp turns began to be noticed causing additional maintenance in ensuring alignments were done frequently. Additionally, the increase in tire size also caused the car not to run as smooth. Electrical issues continued to be an issue with the door for several years even after Chrysler fixed it as per the warranty guidelines. On a positive note, the car looks excellent on the outside, feels prestigious, and is very comfortable. The interior is very roomy and comfortable with plenty of room to stretch out and recline seats without affecting the comfort level of the back seat passengers. The first year model introductory price of 25K was very reasonable considering the issues the first year runs encountered. Chrysler provided vehicle support including free maintenance to cover any unknown issues that may arise during the first 3 years or 36K miles of use. Following year models increased by 15-20K in starting price.
