Not bad for an emergency buy
When I bought my PT Cruiser, I was desperate for a new vehicle. My previous car finally gave out, and I had a long commute to work. The price of the vehicle drew my attention as did the shape and name of it. I thought of it as a "fun" car. Although it is a small car, I still had adequate room, even though I am over six feet tall. At the time, I was married and had two small kids, and I was happy to find that there was space for all. I also enjoyed the hatch back for storage and the child safety lock features. Mileage was great. It was comfortable, and it turned out to be quite a stylish vehicle. Performance was great. It is obviously not a muscle car, but it had good pick up. I didn't have many repair problems, and it was easy to do basic things like oil changes, filter changes and tire rotations.

A comfortable and durable first or small family car
The Chrysler PT Cruiser is durable and reliable. Its size and handling have made it a great car for learning to drive and adjusting to different types of street terrain. Though it may not reach high speeds easily, it keeps up pretty well on the highway. It's frame is surprisingly sturdy. The sound system is surprising, and has remained reliable in the decade I've had the car. Additionally, the car warms up very easily, as does the heating system. I've enjoyed my experience with my PT Cruiser, and would recommend it for anyone who does not necessarily feel comfortable or confident driving, as this car has helped me to become both on road.

The van was in spotless condition. The salesman was honest about prior ownership and condition or vehicle. Willing to be somewhat flexible on price. Didn't try to talk us into a more expensive, similar vehicle. Overall we were satisfied with experience.
