SRT6 super sleeper
The Chrysler SRT6 is perhaps the car with most performance that you can buy for under 15k. The SRT6 with relatively low miles (under 40k) can be had for somewhere in the ballpark of 15k from a dealership and much less from a private buyer. This car has two major selling points. The first being its eye grabbing styling. The car has a look that you either absolutely love or you hate. I loved it. The cars front end has very art deco look with a long plunging nose and yacht like fluting on the hood. The cars rear end is raised and gives it an aggressive stance. It looks like a wild beats crouched and ready to pounce. The interior is small but is perhaps slightly roomier than you might expect considering the cars relatively small foot print. The styling of the interior is clean and uncluttered. The supportive seats are covered in alcantra and hold the driver snuggly as the car grips corners. The interior is accented with silver trim pieces that are attractive and get the job done but are perhaps a little less luxurious that you would expect from a car that originally retailed for near 50k. The SRT6 provides performance that is as attention grabbing as the styling. The car has an AMG 3.3L 330hp engine that propels the car from 0-60 in about 5.0 sec give or take. The is particularly well mannered considering this level of performance. If the car is kept stock it is nearly impossible to break the tires loose and is predictable under normal driving conditions. There are a number of quality after market performance upgrades available for the car that include tuning, CAI, headers, pulleys, exhaust and rear differentials that really turn this car into a track monster. The car provides adequate MPG to be used as a daily driver. It gets a respectable 27 hwy and 16 city.
