I absolutely love it
This is probably the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. We bought this when we lived in an extremely snowy region, and the four-wheel drive never failed us. In fact, we were the envy of many. Being a seven-passenger vehicle, there is an abundance of space for passengers and book bags, and sporting equipment. And, it is an extremely powerful vehicle. There is never that sluggish pull as you are merging onto a highway, even when the air conditioning is at full power. Reliability is my favorite part of this vehicle. I have been driving this for 11 years now, and it rides like it did on day one. It is strong, smooth, and steady. In the 11 years of ownership, we have needed very few repairs. The ride in this vehicle is much like a luxury sedan, despite that it is four-wheel drive. My only complaint about this SUV is the gas consumption...it's a PIG! It would cost over $80 to fill the tank when gas was at its peak. But, what can you expect when you are driving a vehicle this size and carrying so much baggage (human and otherwise). The style of this particular model from this particular year is extremely stylish. I get a lot of compliments on it, and it is usually compared favorably in comparison to the newer models. I have to agree with the comparison. The newer ones are smaller, leaving less room for passengers, and not so stylish. The final thing is the safety factor. I was once in a multi car accident, sandwiched between two cars. The car behind me was totaled, and the car in front had serious damage. My SUV had some bumper damage on the rear, and bumper damage in the front. I felt like I was in a tank! I was so grateful!

For my family this vehicle has been great. The gas mileage for this vehicle, even being an SUV, has been amazing, and a lot less than I would've expected. The seats left plenty of room with my daughter's infant car seat and my sons booster for either of my older sons to still sit comfortable in the middle row. My family of six goes camping at least once a year about three hours away from our home, and the I wish there was a little bit more room for our luggage, etc. I am used to smaller compact vehicles and was very happy to not feel like this vehicle was a very large adjustment. The front visibility is amazing. I can see clearly on either side of me and ahead easily. The rearview visibility is not great for anything short. My husband backed into a Camaro that just was invisible while looking out the back window. I've had to have a sensor replaced and regular maintenance on the vehicle and can say the parts and labor have been affordable; and as you can imagine with a family of six, affordable isn't a word I would use to describe most things especially repairs and maintenance. Insurance on the vehicle was also very affordable which is a bonus. I am not very tall, and neither are two of my boys, and we have no problems getting in and out of the vehicle.
