This is a steel beast.
This car is a steel beast. It is an old fashion American built monster with nothing but power behind it. I can tow more with this car than people with the newer full sized trucks can pull. It is a very heavy car, about two and a half ton with a V8 318 engine. And with great power comes great gas usage. Being one of the safest cars on the road makes me feel very confident putting my child in it. Although there are no air bags, this car is one hundred percent steel. If one of these new aged cars hit me, they would shatter into bits while my car would be lucky to get a scratch. But, with that said, rust is more likely on my car than the newer ones. I've never been stranded, even in the worst snow storms. The car has the most reliable start I've ever seen and the interior is the most comfortable I've ever sat on. It's like driving while sitting in a fluffy lounge chair. If something does happen to go out in this beautiful machine, parts are so cheap it doesn't even matter. I paid thirty dollars for its new alternator! This is a classic American car. One that I'm proud to own.

Economic, comfortable and outdated.
When I first bought the car I liked its uniqueness. Not many people drive these types of cars anymore, specially the white ones. I specially liked the interior and how it felt as if I was riding in a limousine with its comfortable, cushioned and velvety seats. It has an elegant feeling to it with carpeted bottom and cushioned doors, sides and roof of car. So far I have not had any electrical or mechanical problems with the car except for the windows not working occasionally. However, this is very easy and relatively inexpensive to fix. The car also tends to make some squeaky noises but this is more true in the winter and with regular maintenance they seem to go away. I love that my car seems to be an energy saver. To get to school and back home I use about 50 miles in three days and I only have to refill the gas tank about twice or three times. It is a good car to use around town as well to go grocery shopping or run errands. Because it is on the older side it is not as costly to own or maintain. One very big downfall is that the A/C stopped working pretty soon after it was bought and it is hard to fix the A/C for this type of car. I believe the parts might not be made to fix it anymore. One thing I really enjoy doing in this car is just relaxing and talking in the phone or hanging out with friends in it while we talk or stare at the sky. Because of how comfortable it is it makes it feel like we have our own little luxurious outdoor box where we can comfortably relax on colder winter nights. Overall it has been a very reliable and comfortable car. The only reason I would not buy it again is because its parts are becoming outdated and it will be harder to fix in the future.

Comfortable and reliable
My New Yorker is the best US car I ever owned. Chrysler Corp. discontinued this model, which I believe was a mistake since they worked out all the bugs. Quiet ride and very comfortable. Plenty of room front, back, and truck, with no major problems even after over 200,000 miles. I have had this car, which I purchased used, since 2001, and it still runs like a gem. Plenty of power and great acceleration. Overall, just a really good car. The only major problem that I have had with this car is that the driver's side seat broke. It reclined all the way back and would not return to the upright position, due to a broken weld in the seat. Had to replace the seat.
