It performs like an excellent work horse. The driving is extremely smooth and can turn sharply for its size. The bench seating in the front is great for extra seating room instead of a useless console that gets in the way. Great for hauling anything you need with a spacious bed. Powerful enough to tow large trailers or even other vehicles if need be or even towing other vehicles out of off-roading catastrophes. Gas mileage is better than you'd expect for such a powerful vehicle. Everything about the vehicle is built to last.

What I really like about this vehicle is its longevity, reliability and capability. I have the version with the Cummins 12-valve turbo diesel in it, and it is a strong and capable truck. It can pull 11,000 lbs. in the bed 10,000 lbs. at the hitch per the owners manual, but I know a lot of people over tow with few problems. I have the short bed version and the size is good both for hauling things and for fitting into parking spots at stores or work. Another thing I really like is how long lasting it is. I bought the truck with 208,000 miles on it from a trustworthy friend, and it has needed a few minors fixes from things that have worn out, but no major maintenance has been required. I have put about 30,000 miles on it myself and it is working great, and I have been told the engine should be good for half a million miles. So I am very pleased with it so far.
