My Yukon Is The Bomb-diggity!
I have owned my 2001 GMC Yukon for a year and a half. I have had a couple issues with it. We had to replace the driver side brake lines and the master cylinder. The only other thing we have had to deal with was the 4X4 when we first got it. The gears were worn and had to be replaced, and now this thing is amazing. 233,000+ miles on the engine. This thing is a beast! It goes great in the snow and it has yet to leave me stranded. It gets up and goes and has loads of power. My vehicle has more power than my boyfriend's 2007 Ford F150 and his has a 5.4 in it. He keeps trying to trade me, but there is no way. This is, by far, the best vehicle I have owned. However, the leather interior is cracked and has not held up. But the heated seats are an added bonus. I also love that it seats eight so that we don't have to drive a minivan. The paint on the outside is still exceptional looks like new. I would not trade this Yukon for anything... not even my Mustang.

Great all around vehicle.
I have loved my Yukon since the day I bought it, it has never left me stranded and the kids love all the room they have. It has been a great family car for our family days and carpooling. It is not the best on gas but it makes up for that with the hauling it can do. Getting my 12 month old in and out of the Yukon is a breeze with so much room and it has the hauling power to pull our boat or anything else we need to haul. The third row seating is another favorite feature for me, plus the third row folds down if I need extra room in the back.

Great family vehicle
I love that there is third-row seating and eight total seat belts. I get very good gas mileage considering the age and size. My kids love that they can have plenty of space between them and not be crammed together for long trips. I use the middle row for two rear-facing car seats. The seat is large enough to easily fit three in. I also use the back row for car seats and boosters. The outer seats in the middle row and the back seats in the third row have an anchor for forward facing seats but not for rear facing. I love that there are plug outlets in every row. An issue we've had with our vehicle is the air conditioner door has gotten stuck and wouldn't open for the heat to switch over to A/C. Another issue was that the transmission went out but was easily replaced. It took a bit of getting used to for the size coming from a smaller vehicle. I love that it's 4-wheel drive since I live in a state that tends to get muddy or icy at times. I like the ease of when it is actually put into 4-wheel drive without the lag experienced in other vehicles. I also like that the rear door has a window hatch to easily put items in. Another negative about this vehicle is that the paint on the hood is wearing off faster than the rest of the vehicle, which I've noticed on other Yukons also. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and this has been an extremely dependable vehicle.
