2016 Hyundai Tucson CALIFICACIONES Y RESEÑAS DE PROPIETARIOS
Morristown, Tennessee
Best inexpensive SUV.
In 2016 I began shopping for an SUV that was both affordable and had AWD. I found a few Hyundai Tucson's and Santa Fe's online at a local dealership and wanted to go check them out. I showed up and looked at a very nice Santa Fe model they had that was equipped with heated seats and a moon roof along with several other bells and whistles. I came in and was told the price about $9000 over what I wanted to spend. They then showed me a base model Tucson AWD they had just received that week. It was still in the detailing phase. I test drove it and loved it. It was all that I needed in a vehicle although I really did like the loaded Santa Fe model and may consider buying it in the future. Anyway I bought the Tucson and have no regrets about it. It performed well in the first snow I drove in. I live in the south so we don't get many snow days here but when we do it can get dicey. I was so happy about the ease of driving in bad weather conditions. There are a few other drive modes; ECO and Sport. The gas mileage is terrific I get about 24 mpg on average on highway but that can go up. It has a smaller gas tank and 4 cylinder engine. I don't spend much on gas at all. Another feature I really appreciate is the Bluetooth technology and voice command for making phone calls.

Overall, I like my car
I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Tucson last year. I was shopping for an affordable SUV and came across this vehicle at a local dealership. I test drove a much more expensive Tucson but was unable to come to an agreement on the price. The manager remembered that he had just received a base model Tucson that week that had just been unloaded from the delivery truck. Although I really liked the more expensive model due to it having heated seats and a sun roof, I test drove the less expensive model. It is a maroon color but not too dark. It has a drivers side power seat that I like, but it lacks all the bells and whistles of the more expensive model. It is really similar to all other Hyundai's I've owned with standard features. There is a Bluetooth feature that comes in handy when you want to make a phone call you can sync say your IPhone to the car and make hands free phone calls. There is a nice LED type display on the stereo where you can select different functions for either MP3 music or CD or radio. There is no installed OnStar device on my model. I would want to have one installed, but I do have what's called the Blue Link option to call with my cell phone for assistance, if needed.

Excellent, sporty, safe.
I was looking for four things when I was car shopping: safety, affordability, drive quality, and aesthetic. This car is highly rated in safety and I have never had reason to be concerned about it's performance on the road. With smaller cars I've felt like a sneeze could send me into the median, and with larger vans/trucks it feels like you're driving a bathtub full of water. The Tucson has enough space that I can still drive it for a family weekend camping, but it drives like a much sportier car and I never have to worry about not fitting in a narrow parking spot. The car itself was affordable, and the savings I've made though not paying as much for gas as I did with my last car is just the cherry on top.
