Marquis are sturdy vehicles
The car was bought used and has now over 150,000 miles and is going strong for what we use it for. The gas mileage isn't bad either, and the A/C is still original. The engine had needed next to no work and is still reliable. The chassis is just starting to show wear and it isn't much.

Great solid running vehicle.
The reasons I like this car is because it has a lot of room, very comfortable to ride in the trunk is big enough to put all of my camping gear including a large cooler and fishing gear in. It is easy to work on unlike newer vehicles. It has low miles, only 2 previous owners.
Some of the things I don't like are it uses a lot of gas, hard to find parts for older cars. It's harder to find a parking spot for. I like big older cars they are solid unlike newer cars they take more of a beating. I found that it is harder to find replacement tires for it and the stock radio needs an upgrade. It's very easy to spot because you really don't see too many like tithe air conditioner still works great it will freeze you out. The heater works great as well. I love the interior it is velvety and soft but not too easy to clean. And I love the old school cigarettes lighters, there is one on each door with an ashtray. I do believe it is a classic and I will keep it even if I decide to buy a different vehicle.

Smooth and reliable
I got a dark red Mercury Grand Marquis with 29,000 miles on it. The car's taken me smoothly all over the country and held up well during the down time. It might look like a Grandpa car, but hey, Gramps can be pretty reliable.
