The Pontiac G6 is a fantastic car for the commuter and person more concerned about reliability and functionality rather than an over the top car. It is a quiet running and surprisingly powerful car that accelerates quickly and is great for highway driving. There are many things to like about the car. A strong A/C and heating system keeps you comfortable in any weather, and large displays on the dashboard are easily seen to make sure there is no speeding or if there are any issues with the car. The car also has functions on the radio where you can check fuel efficiency, oil life, etc. The interior is very attractive with not too many functions and is very comfortable. The only things that are a bit of an issue with the car is that it needs a decent amount of work to keep in top shape. Also there are only certain models that contain features such as a sunroof and special additions. There is a small section in the trunk that drops into the underbody so that you can lose small objects such as coins or golf balls in there. And the trunk is very small. But in the overall picture of things, I think the G6's comfortable interior and strong driving performance makes it an excellent car for anyone in the market.

My main dislike of my 2006 Pontiac G6 is that I feel it doesn't drive well in the winter up here in northern Minnesota, especially compared to my previous car (2000 Buick LeSabre). I feel like I slide around a lot more and that scares me. Luckily, I'm a pretty decent driver so I haven't been in any severe accidents. Another complaint would be the loudness. It is loud inside the cab so you have to have the music turned up louder. Having to feel every single tiny bump that I drive over because of the low profile tires is disappointing. Other than these three things, I like this car. It is a fun car to drive! It whips around so easy. I haven't had any major mechanical issues either, just the usual wear and tear and maintenance. It is a decent enough size for myself and my 3-year-old son. I like the red lettering in the displays, too. It makes it more unique because I haven't seen many other cars with red writing in the display! I also feel like the brights are brighter than my previous car, so I really like that for watching for deer!
