A reasonably, well-priced, zippy sedan that gets you from point A-to-B. The 2001 VW Passat GLS will accelerate fairly well with it's 1.8 liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, which makes it perfect for city driving. Although, on the highway I keep right and cruise because the car does not accelerate as well at higher speeds. The car handles well in snow and over icy roads. The turning radius isn't too wide and overall handling is great. Heating and air conditioning is good, but, the car is drafty. So drafty that even acute fumes from the engine can be smelled.
