Nice, durable car
I liked that it was different than the other cars in my price range at the time. For example, the battery is in the trunk and the speedometer and everything is in the middle of the dashboard. It's a deceptively quick car, I usually get to my destination with time to spare. I dislike that the paint has warped off of the hood of it.

All around great car, good on gas as well.
There is not much that I do not like about this car, since I have owned it. I have had several long trips and have yet to run into any issues, I can make a full tank of gas last two weeks back and forth to work. It is relatively cheap to fix if something goes wrong.

That dang door.
There were a lot of things I liked about the car. It got great gas mileage. I also think it ran really well, considering I didn't take very good care of it. It was my first car and didn't know all that went into caring for a car; oil changes, filter changes, etc. Considering I didn't do a lot of the maintenance for this car and a regular basis, I'm surprised it lasted more than 200k miles. It was only towards the end that it started running strangely, probably my fault. It would overheat easily; especially if I had the A/C on and it was hot outside. It also would start shaking uncontrollably whenever I stopped and then the engine would turn off. This was especially embarrassing when I was driving in downtown Salt Lake City (I was going to the University of Utah at the time). The most annoying thing was the dang driver side door. I did my first 2 years of college in a small town in Utah and it got cold. One night the door broke and for some reason I couldn't open it. It was fused shut. I had to climb over the passenger side to get in. That didn't impress the ladies very well.
