Used Saturn Ion for Sale

My 2003 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe has been my companion for the last twelve years. It's taken me from Michigan to Minnesota and back again, through pouring rain and drifting snow, to weddings and funerals. It's the kind of car that becomes a member of the family. My nine-year old has high hopes of taking possession of it when he's old enough to drive. I'm not making any promises to share it if it makes it to the ripe old age of 18.

I purchased my car because at the time my son was 10 years old. This made it a great car for me because the third door to the rear bench seat does not open unless the driver’s door is open. I mainly drive around locally, going to appointments, to the beach, fishing, and pleasure cruising.

I bought the car because it gets great gas mileage, but now that I've had it for about six months, I'm not so sure it was worth it. I live in a colder climate, and I can definitely tell that the car does not like the weather. It does handle a little better than my last vehicle though, which was a small SUV. It sits lower to the ground so that helps when the weather turns bad. I have had to replace the front tires on it. I put a lot of mileage on my cars, so I make sure to do the maintenance on them, but things are starting to go wrong with the car and I have not even had it for six months. The basics still are running well: alternator, engine, brakes, etc. but the smaller things have started to give out on me. The windshield sprayer does not work anymore, the plastic panels on the front have cracked, the hood does not like to release. All in all, I do not think I would purchase this car again.
