Scion xB Usados en Venta

The 2005 Scion xB is a front-wheel drive "thing" alternatively classified as a hatchback, subcompact, or station wagon - it is not quite any of these things (though it does qualify as subcompact, the amount of interior room is much greater than any other subcompact). It features a very distinctive, boxy appearance.

I have been very happy with the reliability and value for your money for the 2006 Scion xB I have owned. I purchased the car brand new and have only have had to perform regular scheduled maintenance. The car has been very reliable and has never left me stranded. I have put over 140,000 miles on the car and have never broke down. The engine is solid and feels like it will keep humming along for another 100,000. The car gets about 31 miles on the highway and 28 in the city. I'm very happy with that gas mileage for a car that was built in 2006.

My scion xB is a special case in that it is modified to accommodate my wheelchair. An automatic ramp folds out of the trunk hatch and my chair is secured in the back where the back seat used to be. It is a great substitute for a giant minivan, however I do sometimes wish I had more than one passenger seat. Besides the modifications, the car itself is a regular 2005 xB. It has been very reliable, and I keep it regularly checked at a Toyota dealership to avoid any issues. I have still had to replace the catalytic converter, right front wheel bearing, and numerous other things, but most of the time it has been due to normal ware and tear over 10 years. I like its interior, which is very quiet when the engine is off or idle. The large windows all around give a fantastic 360 degree view. The dash has a nice modern design and is located in a convenient central position for the driver, making it very easy to check and read. It has good pickup, but it can slow drastically when driving up a hill. The turning radius is very sharp, needing only 2.5 to 3 lanes to do a U-turn. The square design wasn't my favorite at first, but now I like how unique it is. Overall I would say it is the best choice of vehicles for me out of the limited options I had, given my disability.
