Overall, I really love my car. It had all the basic features I was looking for, an SUV but not too big with a third row if needed and large enough to be able to have three of my children with their car seats. I like that it gets great gas mileage and has mechanically run sound for me. A few things I dislike is there is absolutely no trunk space when the third row is being utilized and with kids a DVD system would be helpful because we travel long distances frequently. I dislike that the seats are cream color and show every blemish of dirt. The car is very spacious, and I am able to utilize all the space in the back. I can put the third row up if needed or down and have more storage. The vehicle runs smoothly and easy to maneuver. The Highlander is great on gas mileage.

My Toyota Highlander is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is unbelievably reliable. I have only just recently had to replace the battery, and that is the only part that I have had to replace. It has over 67,000 miles on it. It is the perfect size vehicle for our family's needs. The paint and trim have all held up nicely. It has held its value also. I drive mostly in-town miles, but it is very comfortable for long road trips also. The 4WD performs great in snowy/icy conditions, and I use the snow mode often during winter time. One thing I love about this vehicle is that it is a mid-size SUV that drives like a car. The seating position and stance of the vehicle does not make it feel too large when driving. It has a great turning radius for an SUV that allows me to park and turn around easily. There is more than enough cargo room with the third-row seat down to allow for larger items, luggage, etc. to be put in the back.
