Piece of junk that should have never been made.
The Ford Taurus was created as the family car of the future. It was actually used as the car in the first Robocop movie. It came with two engine types the 3.0 and 3.8 liter engines. The car would be discontinued in the mid-2000s due to poor sales and reception.

Just what I need, and nothing more.
I like the fact that this car is easy to work on in terms of general maintenance like oil changes and brake work. It's also not too complicated for my husband to do big ticket repairs, like the alternator, which had to be replaced recently. My last car that needed that done, we had to take it to a dealership after we discovered that the alternator was difficult to get to. We like the relative low cost and availability of parts.
