Used Honda Insight for Sale

The Honda Insight is an adequate fuel-saving people mover. With pedestrian seats, an anemic acceleration profile, weird shifting and strange HVAC system, the Honda insight has some rough edges. Honda's approach to hybrid technology is simpler than Toyotas, but falls behind in the fuel-saving categories.

I bought my Insight certified used through Honda. I've been overall pleased with my car. For a small car it has great space. The gas mileage is a blessing. The quality is excellent and I've had no problems with my car in the 2.5 Years I've owned it.

I bought my 2010 Honda Insight used in 2011 when it had 18,000 miles. It is a hybrid car and has consistently gotten around 50 miles to the gallon. Unless I go on a long-distance trip, I only have to fill up about twice a month. The design of the exterior is sporty and aerodynamic. I have never had any problems with the engine. The interior of the car is light gray, so it does show stains from any spills. The seats are extremely comfortable for a car of this size and economy. One thing I would have changed would have been the fact it does not have cruise control. While that is not a problem for me, my husband and son complain about this when they drive it. They find it hard to maintain a steady speed. It can be uncomfortable in the summer when driving in town and having to stop at stoplights because the gas motor turns off shutting off the air compressor, so the air conditioning turns off until you start back up again. The car is extremely roomy for its size. There is much storage space in the back end since it is a hatchback, and the back seats fold down so getting large items in the car is not usually a problem. Now that the car is almost eight years old, I am finally having some issues with the anti-lock brake system. That is the only major problem I have ever had with it, so I have not had to put a lot of money into repairs. Until now, most expenses have been for tires and a new battery.
