Used 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale

I bought the car in 2012. It has been extremely reliable and a great family vehicle. This car would also make a great first car for a teen to begin driving in. This is also my daily driver which I use to go back and forth around town, get to work, and run errands. It is also great long distance. I live in Phoenix, AZ and have been as far west as the beaches in California and as far east as New Mexico. It is roomy and comfortable to sit and drive in. Maintenance is also ease as far as changing oil, brakes, belts, etc. and parts are inexpensive. The cargo hatch in the back is also roomy and great to use for overnight trips to wherever you are going -- large grocery trips or hauling small pieces of furniture. The vehicle can also be easily adapted to have entertainment systems such as TVs for the rear passengers, aftermarket stereo, or custom speaker systems. When I bought the car (from a private party for cash), it had 80,000 miles on it. Seven years later, it is still running strong with 120,000 miles, and other than normal maintenance that would be done on any car, I have had no issues with it.

The color of this car was exactly what I wanted, and it having four wheel drive made this car perfect for the snow. However, as time went on the car started making a hard stop. The mechanics have all called this issue a down shift clunk. Basically it means that the computer system within the car doesn't communicate properly. I also bought the car with high miles, which was a big mistake. There is also a film or bubbling on the passenger windows that will not come off. That being said the trunk does hold a lot of storage and the seats all fold into themselves making it even roomier. Furthermore there is a bike rake or can be used for luggage on top of the car. My favorite aspect of the car is the comfortable cloth car seats as well as the fact that the seat pulls all the way forward. Being a short person, this features is great.

I purchased the car in 2006. I would not recommend this make/model to anyone who would like a reliable car that is cheap to maintain.
