2009 Jeep Liberty OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Belmar, New Jersey
What's not to love, it's a Jeep and it's awesome!
When you think Jeep you expect the ability to handle any terrine. The Liberty SUV Sport is no exception! From the beach to the mountains it can handle anything on and off road. Approaching 70,000 miles and not a rattle. The pickup speed is much better then expected and the ride. The ride is smoother then most SUVs of its kind. The only possible con would be that it isn't great on gas. Gas prices are low and I spend about $10-15 to make a 23 highway mile trip to work, roundtrip not one way. Half a tank on average runs about $20-25. The interior can and has been put to the test and survived with flying colors. Despite the wear and potential for stains or rips I am happy to report it still looks new. I even cleaned dried on exterior house paint odd the console and interior door panels with no damage. Here is the best part. I recently moved, I was able to do my entire house using just the Jeep! When the seats go down you will be amazed at how much fits inside! One more shocker, I fit 4 large hockey bags, 4 backpacks, 8 hockey sticks and 4 boys in there with me and had a lot of room to spare. If you love Jeep or the SUV life, the Liberty is a solid choice. I would led hint for another used Liberty before considering other options. I am truly upset that they no longer make this awesome vehicle. It has made me a Jeep fan all the way!

Reliable car with electric issues.
This vehicle was used when I first got it and it had some minor electrical issues that were intermittent. However, the car was reliable in terms of engine performance, and getting me from point a to point b. I have done a lot of things in this vehicle that I wouldn't have normally done, like go and drive on the beach and in thick snow covered roads. The vehicle makes me feel safe, even though I've never been in an accident with this vehicle. The car has had electrical issues like the power windows not working on one side of the vehicle, but I've owned the car for years now and put a lot of miles on it and I like the way it drives. The gas pedal and brake pedal both feel good under my feet and the car handles well in all different types of weather. The car has nice quality of life features like a touch screen radio and four wheel drive. There are plenty of other features as well like an aux cord port for myself and my passengers to listen to music together on our long road trips. Speaking of road trips, there is plenty of room for comfort and luggage in the back seat for passengers and in the trunk for our bags. It also has a sun/moon roof so that you can have natural light from above, or nice ventilation while driving. I also sit on the roof and look at the stars and sometimes fireworks from the access I have through the sunroof. Overall, it is a great, fun reliable car despite certain electrical issues I would recommend this model car to anyone.
