Strong, reliable car
I bought this car with 200k miles and I have only had to do the brakes once and a few oil changes. It now has 223k miles and hasn't given me any problems. The car did come from Hawaii so it has some damage from all of the sun. The car also has an oil leak from the valve cover so I have been keeping an eye on the oil and adding when needed. One time I neglected to check the oil and it did not register on the dipstick. Oops! The car still runs like a champ.

Superficial and unreliable
The car drives well. It has good acceleration and power for its size and handles very well. The issue comes more with its longevity. It shipped with a malfunction clutch, which needed to be replace less than two years after purchase. Two years after that, the transmission failed, due in part to previous stress put on it by the malfunctioning clutch. The water seals around the doors started to loosen after a few years, causing moisture to easily get into the cab. The cigarette lighter stopped charging, meaning it was no longer possible to charge a cell phone or GPS device. The passenger side windshield wiper failed. Even the heater control arm will detach, meaning you can't switch vents, including going to defrost, without manually reattaching below the steering wheel. Driver seat became detached. Car won't restart after having been driven for more than ten minutes or so without a down period.
